Time to leave the mountains and head for the coast! The joint Taste of the Bayou/Alabama Seafood Cook Off is May 1 in Bayou la Batre.

6 PM– Doors open at the Bayou la Batre Community Centre, and there will be plenty of seafood to nosh on.
6:15 PM–The Cook Off starts, and noshing continues.
8:45 PM–Cook off concludes. The winner advances to the Great American Seafood Cook Off in New Orleans.
9 PM– Things wind down. We’re talking Alabama seafood at its best.
